Based on our extensive research and experimentation, there are two things we know for certain are funny:

1. People falling down; and more specifically, models falling down (celebrities falling down is the most funny).
2. TV news anchors who can’t keep things together during live broadcasts.

Knowing those two things, check out the video clip Candace emailed me this morning. I give credit to all those women who can walk in those shoes and make it look sexy without falling, but when you do, its funny. Not sure what is funnier the model falling down or the news anchors laugh.

So any of you remember Smash Mouth? They were big in the late 90′s with other bands you don’t hear much from anymore such as Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms and my favorite has been band from the 90′s Hootie and the Blowfish. Back in 94 I wanted to go see Hootie and I could not get in, sold out shows everywhere.

Today I think they are doing state fairs and they open up for REO Speedwagon, hehe.Those were the great 90′s. Probably my favorite decade for music.

However, Smash Mouth sold over 11 million records and they had some serious hits such as “All Star,” “When the morning comes” and “I’m a believer.”  So I know who they were and I was very excited to be shooting a concert again. I used to shoot many concerts when I started photography 10 years ago and I still have some images posted on my artsy website. So here are some of my incredible images. Finally we have air. We got a brand new uber AC installed today. It’s amazing how we never appreciate things until we don’t have them anymore. I am on a bad luck streak right now, everything seems to be breaking right now. I hate when that happens.

Anyway, this is a belated post from this past weekend but since I was not in my office much this week (it was too hot to think about doing any work) I will post this now. Last weekend I got hooked up with all access passes to a Marlins game and a Smash Mouth concert right after the game. My friend Kristine who’s wedding I shot last year is very good friends with Steve “Mr. Mouth” and his wife Michelle so he asked me to come and take some pictures of the concert.

This past Saturday we had no wedding so it worked out perfectly. Anyway check out some of the cool images I took and tomorrow I will post some killer Smash Mouth concert images. Now you will have to come back :)

If you’ve ever gone to a Dolphins or Marlins game you have probably met this weirdo. Don’t ask him if the beer is ice cold. He will yell at you ;)
