MONICA & MICHAEL, MARRIED 11.30.07

CATEGORIZED UNDER: MARRIED, SLIDESHOWS

With so many amazing weddings posted recently it is getting hard to post new weddings and still have that “wow” factor, however I think I still have a few tricks left. Monica & Mike are high school sweethearts and they have known each other for about 13 years. 13 seems to be a lucky number for them. Monica planned this wedding to perfection even the engagement shoot was perfect. M&M are such good people and we had such an amazing time working with you guys. I feel like I’ve known you forever.

I can not even tell you how glad I am that we were included in this special VERY emotional event and that everything turned out so amazing after all the change of plans and venues (Monica knows what I am talking about). I know you are somewhere on your honeymoon on a cruise ship and you can not wait to see your images (and you are not the only one, you got fans, girl!). You and Meli were 2 of my hard core “knotties” I will miss you. Anyway here are my personal faves.

This is Monty. The ring bearer.

Check out those super eyelashes, I can see the right one from this side :)

This is a “picture perfect” stunning looking Monica

I love this shot. It has a timeless feel to it.

I love shooting at the Biltmore Hotel, that lobby is amazing even more with Monica in the shot.
Monica’s brother is a Marine. I was looking for a way to shoot that. I think this image speaks more than words.

Sometimes crying makes such great pictures. It’s one of those moments that can not be posed or re-shot.
I hope I am not starting some trend with funny face. Not sure if the parents will like these images.

Mike is one lucky guy. Congrats!

Every time Monica came in contact with her dad, she got very emotional. Priceless shot.

Quite time. You guys make a good looking couple.

MELISSA & AGUSTIN MARRIED 11.28.07

CATEGORIZED UNDER: MARRIED

What can I say about those two love birds? Augi is one of the coolest grooms I met so far and Meli is a hard core fan of my work and a rock chick who I have connected with from the first day we met. I feel like we have been long time friends and that is how we felt while shooting your uber cool engagement shoot and wedding last week at the amazing Spanish Monastery in Miami Beach. From the time we arrived at the hotel to the end of the wedding, I felt so good about everything we were doing. Things went by so fast, it was like roller coaster ride before you know it, it was over.

This was one of those weddings where we have made a real connection with my clients and it all reflected in the images. I know you are on your honeymoon and you can hardly wait to see images. Thank you so much for letting us be part of your amazing special day.

All day Meli was making silly faces. You know the rule, you make a silly face and it may end up on my blog.

Putting on the dress was quite a production. She later ended stepping in the dress.

YES! Great success!

Meli looked stunning!

If there was a male version of a Mona Lisa…this would be it.
Check out the detail this girl put into her wedding.

Augi’s dad did the catering and I have to say the food was fabulicious. If you email me the website I will give him a plug.
I took one of those fave’s, I am listening to in in my car, I love it. My kind of music.

Meli is too hip for any kind of limo. She arrived in style in a little red 1965 Corvette Sting Ray
Anticipation.

I love shooting at the Spanish Monastery.

Check out Meli’s hand. Rock on!

First dance.

Augi performs Foo Fighters, “Ever long” acoustically

THE DAY AFTER 11.27.07

CATEGORIZED UNDER:

At exactly 8 am I met with Adrienne and Paul again for a more relaxed editorial shoot. We were surprised when they agreed to the shoot right after the wedding and it was the only time we could do this shoot before heading back to Miami for another amazing wedding (I will have images of that wedding tomorrow). I also knew that Adrienne was the kind of bride that loves everything I do and she would not think I am crazy to ask her to roll around the water in her wedding dress.

Again, I can not say enough great things about you guys. Thank you for the huge bag of gummy bears, I was eating them on the drive back to Miami. I love gummy bears :)

Water was kind of cold, took a little time to get used to it.
How cool is the texture on that wall?
