Well it is nearly 2008 and I wanted to take the time to thank everyone who has supported me with everything, especially all of you blog stalkers who kept in touch with me via my blog. Without you guys I would probably have no desire to blog as much as I did this year. The more blog stalkers and comments I get the more compelled I feel to blog. For next year I am committed to continue blogging about things that are of interest to me and about every photo shoot I have going. 2008 is going to be awesome.
2007 has been my best year in business ever, I worked with amazing cool couples and covered 35 beautiful weddings. For 2008 I plan on shooting around 30-35 weddings (by choice) from which I already have 19 in the books. I also plan on further expanding my business in several different directions. I will be posting all about it here on my beautiful blog.
Before I wish you all a happy new year, I have to thank my family and friends for being very supportive, my 2nd shooter Ryan for joining the party a few months ago and of course Candace who is the backbone of my business “Maloman Photographers”. She does a lot more than it appears.
Anyway, Candace and I took Ryan and his beautiful wife Carolina and my friend Kristine to Cafe Martoranos for a dinner last week. Make sure to check back in a few days. I have a real funny post in the works and some incredible images from the Black forest. Have a happy new year everyone. What is your resolution? Learn to cook, run a marathon, watching less reality tv?

Check out Candace’s new hair do. Can you say middle school teacher? I love it.

Ryan, You know the rule about funny face ;)
Spicy meatball (the best in the world according to Gourmet Magazine). The food was so good and ALOT of it. I am still full a week after.

COLMAR – LIKE PARIS BUT DIFFERENT

After 2 days of eating lots of food and celebrating 2 birthdays with my family in Germany, we finally took the car and went over to France to a little town called Colmar which is about 100 miles past the German/French border. Initially a German town which was given back to France in 1945. We did not want to go to Paris this time but to a small town that is less touristy and blend with the locals. First off, it is fricken cold here (20′s). In a way I like it, it makes me feel alive. I guess your blood gets thin when you live in Florida for 15 years. We are also completely jet lagged which messed up our sleeping and eating schedule. We eat dinner for breakfast and we get up at 4am to eat dinner. The food is so good here, check with Candace’s blog for some reviews.
Yesterday we took a nice long walk in the town and I took some pictures which I wand to share with you. I will be posting as many images as possible from all the places we will be going while here in Europe.

Check out the big balls on this tree. The size of basketballs.

Candace looks like a Swedish tourist with her red hat. I call her “Helga”

Can you believe Candace’s birthday is actually today? Until I met her I always had to explain people how bad it sucks to have my birthday on Christmas eve, well not anymore. Now I tell everyone to ask Candace when her birthday is. What are you going to do about it? Your birthday will always be overshadowed by some little holiday called CHRISTMAS. I am sure her mom did not plan this to be this way.
Anyway happy birthday and thank you for being such a great person (who cares about Christmas). No worries I will not tell anyone your age. Who wants to guess?
