Is it just me or am I getting older? I used to get really excited about my birthday when I was younger. Now that I am hitting 35 I just want this to be over. Perhaps celebrating getting older is not such a huge deal anymore and you just want to keep things on the down-low. Maybe it’s time to switch to birthday candles in the shape of numbers, seeing 35 candles on my cake is depressing. Luckily I don’t have to think about getting older for too long as Candace’s 20 something (wink, wink) birthday is just one day after mine on December 25th.

Before we head out on a holiday vacation, I wanted to let everyone know that our office will be closed from 12/24 to 1/7. We will be with my family in Europe and a few other nice places so make sure to check my blog as I will be blogging from the road with lots of cool images. I will however be checking email and phone messages. So if you know anyone who is getting engaged over Christmas or New Years, send them my way. If any one of you “guys” don’t have a gift for your lady yet, you may want to consider this.

I know it’s almost Christmas and things should be slowing down but not for me. Yesterday I drove down to Miracle Mile in Coral Gables to meet with this lovely couple. I knew from the fist minute we will have a great time, Sacha had this contagious laughter for the entire shoot which made things only easier for me. I have always wanted to shoot down there in or around those bridal stores. You guys were so cool and easy to shoot and I am so excited to go back to Deering Estate next year to shoot your wedding. It’s one of my favorite venues.

I wanted to give a huge plug to my friend’s bridal store J. Del Olmo for letting me shoot inside and outside. If you are looking for a gown, you have to go and talk to Vivian, she is the best. OK, I am off to shoot an incredible wedding, the last one for this year. Have a nice weekend everyone, avoid going to the mall if possible ;)

I hope I did not ruin the moment for Justin by having Sacha put on a gown.
