Last Saturday while Candace and I were in St. Petersburg shooting the wedding that I posted previously, my associate & 2nd shooter Ryan got a chance to shoot on his own the engagement party of Annie and Ben. The party took place at the beautiful Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne on a picture perfect day. This party had probably more guests than many of the weddings we have done. The actual wedding which we will be covering in November will have over 400 guests. I am really looking forward to this one. If anyone plans a traditional Indian (Christian or Hindu) wedding and you are looking for a photographer, make sure you check with me first, we travel ;)
Here are a few awesome images. Thanks Ryan, not bad ;)

Obviously Ben is not familiar with the rules for “funny face” shots.

When: January 19, 2008 • Where: Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg • Engagement: na
We are finally back home today after a 5 day tour around the state which took us to Tampa and Tallahassee. On Saturday we were in St. Petersburg for Lauren and Darius wedding. Lauren’s mom told me that she was so impressed with us she just had to have us shoot the wedding even is the wedding was in a barn. I felt very humbled and honored to hear that. We had a blast shooting this amazing wedding at the beautiful Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg.
Here are just a few quick images I picked today, I know Lauren is somewhere in a hotel in Argentina checking my blog ;)

I am glad we got access inside the theater for some cool shots…
