Most of you regular blog stalkers probably know about my other blog a joined venture with Candace where she cooks something real good and I take the pictures. Shooting food is definitely not something easy to do. Personally I think it’s easier to shoot weddings than food. Perhaps one day I will do a post about what I learned about shooting food and how I do it (if anyone cares). I really enjoy shooting the food so I will be posting more food shots on my own blog in the future. I hope you like it.
Anyway, Candace made sushi last week. I love sushi and I get it all the time when I go out but I never appreciate the work that goes into making it. You don’t see people make sushi at home very often.
I wanted to give her some blog love for that amazing work she does, her delicious food blog www.ishotthechef.com is now under the most popular 100k blogs. Not bad at all, she has some serious amazing content on there.

Check out this sexy looking cake she did

Last week I met with Michelle & Steve at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami. It was the first time I went there and I was very impressed with that location. It was a rainy day with rain coming down on and off but the weather gods were good to us to give us about 30 minutes of sun where I shot a few hundred images. I am really looking forward to this wedding in late April at Vizcaya. I definitely want to shoot more weddings there, that place is just right for me. Let me know if you are planning a wedding there ;)
Here is a small selection of my favorite images. Happy Monday everyone!

THE HEAT IS OFF

” The heat is on” remember that big 80′s smash hit by Gloria Estefan? I remember not even 2 years ago when the Miami Heat was really on as I witnessed myself a few playoff games to what turned out to be on a championship winning season for Miami. Well how things have changed. Last night We went to see a game and the team I saw was not what it used to be. Miami has all (or most) of their starters on the bench due to injury and out for the season, Shaq left for Phenix Suns (trader) and that pretty much sums it all up. I think the MH only managed to win 12 games this season and lose like 56. It’s painful but I am hopeful that next season will be better. Anyway I just wanted to vent about this even though I am not a huge sports kind of guy. I hope I am not pissing of any hard core Heat fans.
Let me know if you can spot Arnold Schwartzenneger on this picture, I took last night. He happened to be there with his family, we saw him on the big screen. Miami lost that game 103-86.
