Last weekend we covered a very cool wedding at the very conservative Little Flower church which finally allows “real” photographers to shoot inside. The limitations are however still very strict. I have several weddings in the next few weeks at that beautiful church so I did only what I was allowed to. I normally shoot first and ask for permission later but this is a church where we will be going back alot so it’s good to not get “black listed” there. Anyway, the reception took place on the terrace of the famous Bank of America building in downtown Miami.

Both Cathy & Johnny were so cool to work with. Johnny reminded me of “Danny Zuko” from Grease, he also had some vocals and nice dance moves. Thank you guys for letting Candace and I be part of your very special day.

Hey folks! I’m currently on the hunt for another quality/reliable assistant/2nd shooter to add to my team who has experience in the following areas:

• Proficient with Mac & PC platforms (especially Mac’s)
• Photoshop CS3 & Lightroom
• Processing and editing of digital files
• Album design
• Canon equipment knowledge & lighting
• Great typing, writing skills
• Working knowledge with web applications such as Dreamweaver/Flash a plus
• Fluent in English (Spanish a huge plus)
• Willing to work Saturday & Sunday

Remember we all start somewhere and if you don’t have much experience but you are reliable and willing to learn then you are the right person. Not to mention all the experience you will get from just being at weddings with us, we are always having a blast shooting. This position will start as a probationary internship leading into a paid freelance position. I had the pleasure to shoot an engagement shoot for a really cool couple on Sunday at beautiful River Front. When I met with Carolyn a few months ago I knew I would be the right shooter for her. She loves everything we do and is a regular blog stalker. The wedding will take place at the exclusive Indian Creek in April and we are stoked about shooting there again, especially with this lovely couple. We were there just recently for this wedding.

Anyway happy St. Patrick’s Day, watch out for idiots vomiting on the streets and driving drunk ;)
