The normal order is….married, pregnant, baby. Not for Colleen and Rich. In their case it’s….pregnant, baby, married. I am so happy for you guys and we are so excited to shoot your wedding next year and the baby when it arrives on 12/4/08 which is my 4 year wedding anniversary :)

How cool is this shot… not your usual prego session.

I don’t know if there is much left to say about this amazing couple and wedding we shot at the Boca Resort. The day of the wedding the weather gods did not play along and we had an on and off rainy day. Normally rain on your wedding day is good luck but not good for photography. So we did anything we could inside the resort. A few days after Amy and Jamie got back in their wedding “costumes” and we headed back to the Boca Resort for some editorial images. We concluded the session in Parkland on a ranch with horses and beautiful picture perfect weather.

By the way I always encourage clients to do this. Why sacrifice on amazing images just because the weather was not ideal or when you lose the daylight after a long ceremony, also who wants to miss that cocktail hour while taking pictures? The solution is day after sessions and we can even trash your dress at the same time. What are you going to do with that dress anyway?

I always love going down to Lincoln Road/South Beach for editorial engagement sessions, there are so many great spots to shoot not to mention watch all the freaks go by on the street. It’s like NYC only in a much more condensed and smaller version. One day I will do a street project there. Annie is stunning beautiful (Ben you’re good looking too) and she has been a long time fan of my work and I am truly looking forward to their wedding in November, It will be out of this world.
