Normally I write my own posts, however this one I let Candace write. It’s a very special post to her.
We are finally blogging the wedding of my big brother. This wedding was a real treat for me to see my brother get married. Their wedding was a very small family affair in a quaint boutique hotel, The Water Street Hotel, in Apalachiacola, FL (thats near Panama City). Ken and Melissa have been together for many years, and I’ve been anticipating this day since they started dating 6 years ago. I just knew Melissa was the one for my bro from the first time I met her as she fit seamlessly into our family. Thank you for making him so happy and welcome to the family, sister!
Also, huge thank to Stephan for taking such amazing images of my family and for insisting that I enjoy myself while he performed double duty! You’re really one of a kind.

Oscar is guarding Melissa’s gown. Who let the dog out?

Check out that perfect spritz.

This is a rare sight. Ken wearing a suit. Looking sharp.

Love this real moment. Final touches for Melissa while Ken is ready to head out to tie the knot.

Had to post one of my beautiful wife. Love the new hair cut. Doesn’t look as much as an elementary school teacher anymore ;)

That’s what I’m talking about.

One of the best tasting cakes I have ever had. Perhaps it’s because my wife made it?

After this I put the camera down and joined the party. Congrats!

Coleen and Richard tied the knot at the uber-luxurious Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. We absolutely love this place for the gorgeous architecture and beauty of the grounds. The couple chose to do a first sight and take photographs before the ceremony due to the late ceremony start. Kids, I’ve said this before, this is definitely the way to go if you want images that will make your eyeballs happy!
Thanks Coleen and Richard for letting us be a part of your day… we’re looking forward to many more photo shoots of you and your beautiful family.

I met this amazing couple on Facebook when they responded to a open call I posted a few months ago white I was testing a film camera. If you did not see that post you should. Anyway, we’ve been blessed over the years to photograph hundreds of fun couples. Elienai and Christian, however, take the cake. These two are willing to do anything for a good shot… you should have seen poor Elienai’s dress after the shoot, she looked like she climbed on top of a dirty train… oh wait, she did climb on top of a dirty train, in 4 inch stilettos too. We are definitely looking forward to the chance to work with these two love birds again, at least once more…..in August!
Here are some images that will make your eyeballs happy.

This one is my favorite. I think I will add a few new canvases to my studio.

Wait, I think THIS one is my favorite too.
